Intimate Back Yard Wedding// Justinne + Gerie

Justinne and Gerie's day came together in a very 2020 fashion. They reached out a few months prior to what would have been their wedding date, and said "hey... we want to get married and we know the wedding isn't going to happen right now, would you be open to photographing our intimate celebration?" The answer is always oh hunny.. HECK YA. We organized the best day. Starting after their private ceremony in their church, we took portraits outside of The Lane, a gorgeous industrial venue in Downtown San Diego. After that, we went to one of my favorite (and most underrated spots), the Padres Parkade. Believe me when I tell you there is no magic, like the combo that is Justinne's flowing pearl veil and the incredible light on top of the parking garage.

After their portraits, they received the most BEAUTIFUL surprise reception in Justinne's parent's backyard. A huge benefit of the day was that Justinne and Gerie were able to use all the vendors from their original wedding date in their intimate celebration.

We'll be counting down the days to their larger wedding in 2021, but for now... feast your eyes on another example of astounding creativity and just an all around beautiful day.
