Anna + John//Ed's Apple Orchard Wedding in Sultan, Washington

No wedding could avoid sporadic torrential downpours throughout a day right? WRONG. This one did. It was miraculous, and still leaves me with goosebumps (as did this entire day). 

Anna & John met at a Crossfit gym (so badass), and no pun intended have the strongest spirits. Further evidence: John is training to be a firefighter (in my hometown ayyy), and Anna is a CrossFit coach. Anna spent the day getting ready with her parents and siblings at the most gorgeous log cabin steps away from the river. We drove to their wedding at Ed's Apples in Sultan, Washington, and along the 20 minute drive experienced a baby monsoon. I kid you not, the minute we pulled up to the venue, the rain stopped and revealed the most beautiful apple orchard.

They shared their first look between rows of apples trees. Got married in front of their closest family and friends. Rented a freaking hamburger truck for their wedding, and danced their precious hearts out.

This day will always mean a lot to me for many reasons. But above all, because the kindness these two and their entire families showed me and everyone that was a part of this day. Thank you Anna, John, and to your entire families. I'll be revising this day for a long time to come.

p.s. as I left the wedding, it started raining so hard that you couldn't even walk to your car without looking like you just volunteered for a dunk tank. The party continued inside unaffected. Miracles man.
