Kaitlyn & Alex // AirBNB in Joshua Tree
I don't know how to express my gratitude to couples that are willing to jump into bed with me. Get your mind out of the gutter weirdo, it's literal and metaphorical. I was beyond blessed these few days in Joshua Tree to have couples that were both willing and wanting to drive out to the middle of nowhere to let go, and let me be part of it. Something that is apparent in my time with these two was the power of play. It ain't just for children. How these two could embrace ridiculousness with such an eye for each other felt like love in raw form. I think my favorite part of meeting people like Kaitlyn and Alex is not only the experience of photographing them, but learning from them. After our session, we sat for an hour and killed a tub of guacamole talking and philosophizing about love and marriage. It further challenged and broadened my perspective, and man if I could describe the phenomenon that is growing personally through your work... that's where words don't say enough. Hence the photos. Cheers to you visual learners.
